Mishy Kope is a South African indie folk singer-songwriter based in Cape Town. She debuted in 2022 with a Dancehall and Afrobeats-inspired single, “I”ll wait,” later shifting to acoustic music focusing on social issues and personal experiences. In 2024, she released “Qongqotha,” her first song under her reinvented musical taste. “Mnthakwethu” and “Umntu Ngumntu Ngabantu” are other acoustic singles in her rich music catalogue.
